No need to do those boot commands. Mount your cd-rom drive and play the music as if you would play it off your hard drive. IF you need help mounting your cd-rom drive, just ask. Try using the auto-mounter that is docked (by defualt ) on the right of your screen. I'll give more detailed help if you need it.

I was having problems with that too.  What I ended up doing was opening up XMMS.  Not mounting the CD (Linux wont recogonize it), and right clicking on XMMS and "play directory"  When the dialogue box opens I selected "cdrom", and everything played.
