Hi there, A noob here, totally new to Linux...

I have done the searching but I still dun have a clue how to play CD/VCD on xmms

Some simple procedure would be appreciated.

right click on the desktop, apps, sound, xmms, xmms play cd

Tried that. Play files box pop up and then what should I do?
There is a Selection where I typed <cdrom/> but nothing happens.???

First, boot up DSL by using the "dsl toram" boot command and then try:

/dev/cdrom

/dev/sdc0

/dev/sdc1

for audio CD devices.

in order to listen to audio cd there must be a cable connecting the sound card and the cdrom
