my xmms crashes after that dsl file when i want to open a wma file with

the other thing is my xmms starts everytime with

libmikmod.so.2: cannot open share file: not file or directory
/usr/lib/xmms/libcdread.so: undefined symbol: playlist_undefined_shuffle_list
libGL.so.1: cannot open share object file: no such file or directory

any idear?

1. Your missing a lib it would like to see.. libmikmod.so.2
2. libGL.so.1 = Open GL graphics for XFree86 xserver.. doesn't exist in DSL ..
Having it will not offer any benefit, I believe..
3. From LiveCD ? xmms can't write a cd playlist .. no biggie..
4. The locales were probably stripped out when DSL was mastered

If you try to run a wma in xmms froma shell, you get a nice message from
XMMS about "You have found a bug ! "

Oh Joy !

Again, mplayer for wma files..

so you dont know how to fix the wma prob and tell me to use mplayer or what?

Until one of us come up with something better....

There is a long string of issues regarding compiling these plugins
at xmms.org.
Also, I found this plugin which claims to have wma wmv support

About: avi-xmms is a plugin for XMMS to play files supported by avifile library, formats supported is avi (including DivX) and asf. It is able to resize movies with aspected ratio, fullscreen and lots of other useful features like seekbar in fullscreen.
Changes: * Included a stripped version of avifile 0.53.5 that compiles staticly into the plugin. This will make avi-xmms work no matter what avifile version you have installed on the system.
* Added wma and wmv support.
