Try this, Open the Term.

Code Sample

#: fdisk /dev/hda*
     d
1-4(delete all current partitions unless you decide otherwise)
      n
      p
      1
      w

#:dsl-hdinstall

*: Or the device to which you are installing.

Thats all

Hi,
First of all I am just starting so I am not fimilar with all of the terms use here.  In your first statement you say "Open the term",  I am assuming that it means terminal.  The trouble is I have no idea where the terminal is.  Is it located somewhere on the desktop or is it in the group when you right click the mouse?

Am I suppose to type the instructions exactly as write.

#: fdisk /dev/hda  This involes fdisk and makes a partition name dev on my harddrive.

What is the next stuff mean?
 d
1-4(delete all current partitions unless you decide otherwise)
      n
      p
      1
      w

Do I also type in the last step?
#:dsl-hdinstall  Does this install DSL to the harddrive (hda) in a partition named "dev"?

Thanks I'll check back later.
