Antialiasing was working all along, just takes the right fonts installed. Ignorance on my part, as well as lack of time (working ~70 hrs/week). And any Gtk2 .uci will take either editing /etc/ld.so.conf and/or setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. So on to the finishing touches and submitting. Firefox 2.0.0.14, Juanito's Gimp-2.4 and many GTK2 extensions built for the gtk2-0705.dsl works well with this. As well as all made for gtk+-2.10.9. I will add libfribidi to support Abiword. Stripped down this is about a 14MB .tar.gz extension so far, so not as big as I thought it would be.
