Hi Robert:
I just tried DSL 4.0rc2 in kqemu. It is more beautiful than anything I could have expected. I wish you good luck with the 4.0 release!

Robert,

Tried to boot DSL-4.0 rc2 with the 'sata' option and got a 'loading hang' at sata_vsc.0.....

Without the 'sata' option, boots fine but shows my 1st sata drive as hda and of course does not see sdb.  What did I miss?

Best regards,

marvinudy

Unpluging a usb drive then re-pluging it in will change its device name. 2.6 kernel and udev solves this. But we are on 2.4 and original hotpug scripts. Anyway, a known limitation.

I haven't noticed this problem, as long as I umount the drive before pulling out the device.  For my USB mouse, I can plug and unplug it all day, and it works.

I haven't noticed that either. If I replug my usb stick, it's still sda..
