I posted this issue in the DSL4 RC5 forum a couple of weeks ago.. Looks like an attempt was tried to fix this but it still has problems. Using the new DSL 4.0 here. If I switch to Fluxbox and then back to JWM then I seem to get a different menu when I right (or left for that matter) click on the desktop. I get the DSL menu as per bottom left DSL button. Before I changed to Fluxbox it would give me a nice options menu that had a Mount option as well as a few other things like a place I could create a Desktop Icon. Pity now I cant seem to find the mount tool any more either.
I should learn how to use mount from Aterm at this rate but that hurts. I have become very dependant on the mount option in that desktop menu. Just thought I would report this one again. I guess this is the right place to Lodge it.

When fluxbox is selected you have its application menu as the root menu. To access DFM menu, just right click on any icon.

JWM and SWM both have DFM menu as the root (right click) menu.

Thanks . I found this after messing about with it for an hour or so. I eventually managed to make all the desktop icons dissapear as well which really hung me.

Anyway Once I right clicked on an desktop icon I found that I could get into the X11 menu and reenable the right click menu which was disabled after running Fluxbox.

Hate to be a nuisance, but I prefer fluxbox with no icons.  Is there any alternative way to invoke the dfm menu?  Could anything be added to the fluxbox menu to invoke a dfm menu?  (As a workaround, I run rox.)

Much as I like fluxbox, I think you did the right thing by making jwm/dfm the default.  Much more newbie-friendly.

If you prefer the dfm menu, you could set it to that and have the WM menu invoked on screen edges.
