Edimax EW-7608Pg

The Edimax EW-7608Pg is not one of DSL's Verified Wireless Cards. The open source driver, found here [1], does not compile.
The open source driver's README instructs:$cp Makefile.4 ./Makefile (for kernel 2.4, the DSL kernel). $chmod 755 Configure $make config
Following those steps, the following error is produced:
