Anybody got a recommendation for a battery monitor program? It's a Thinkpad A20m with an IBM-branded Li-ion battery. I hate not knowing how much time I've got.

Normally the system data readout at the top left hand side of the screen shoud show how long you have left on battery.

You could also use "cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state" (or similar) from a terminal window.

There are also two small applications - WMacpi, WMapm - in the DSL repository at http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub....wm_apps
