Hi,
Anybody know how to add a module or other type of support for an ALS4000 soundcard.  It is a PCI card by ASOUND.

Thanks

From a little googling it looks like your chipset MAY be supported by alsa. Try installing the alsadebs package from the repository and see if you get sound. Read the info file because you will need a couple other things installed from the repository to get it to work.

Good Luck

Thanks Chris!

Alsa did the trick!  It did prompt for a couple more packages, but installed and configured itself nicely.  My Edna server is working great and xmms is nicely playing my ogg's and mp3's.
