Hi all,

Trying to get my winamp skins to work in XMMS. As suggested i put them in /home/damnsmall/.xmms/Skins/ and even tried renaming osme of the .wsz files to .zip

The program lists the files but the player skin does not change. Has anyone had any similar problems or solutions? ???

BTW using DSL 0.7.1

lib-
I see this sometimes when copying skins from some far-flung
directory.Xmms seems unhappy about the "zips" but always
loads tar.gzipped skins.I put skins in a folder on the CD and
this works well.Usually.
Don't know why this happens, hasn't happened for a while,
but if youv'e got the problem all the time,I can only suggest
unzipping your zip files and then tar.gzipping them.
I have had to do this for later versions of Xmms to have my
favorite skins,it works! :)

Well the zip -> tar.gz trick worked!

Now i've got to do it to the other 20+ skins I've got :(

I did have a look on the xmms website adn it said that the zips/wsz files shoudl have worked oh well!:D
