I am running DSl off my HD and also have a SB 16 ISA card that I can use after running:

modprobe sb

What file do I need to put this in to run at boot. I tried bootlocal.sh and got the following error:

Sb: No ISAPnP cards found, trying standard ones....

Then the computer stops responding. I also tried putting the command in .xinitrc. No luck. I'm just starting out with linux and any help is appreciated.

Thanks

See this thread about adding your sound card parameters to /etc/modules or
/etc/modutils/aliases.
