When I use DSL menu->System->Add Users, I lose the new user when I reboot and do NOT get asked for a login.

How do I get DSL to require a login and password for booting up, and how do I add a user and get the user's directory to show up under /home?

At the very least, I think you'd need to back up /etc/shadow /etc/passwd and probably their home directories i.e. /home/blah (though this part is not needed if you are using a persistent home directory)

Here's some more info...
Example forum search: "adding AND user": http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....t=13390
