I download the last dsl2.3RC burned it but I get a problem. the cd boot but after trying to install it it keeps teling me that the it can not find the KNOPPIX file system and instead give me acces to a very;) limited shell

What's wrong

P133 and an sis chipsets

Try to boot with dsl dma cheat, it works for my SIS chipset.
Normal hd install(with default kernel) wont work with SIS(kernel panic), but frugal works with dma enabled.

If you can use your hd with dma enabled and you want to make normal install instead of frugal install, then contact me and i will give you something which makes SIS to work with dsl, or at least it works for me and without any problems.

problem mounting usb drive:
In ibm 560z laptop as above.
On reboot should give /dev/sda1 or similar but I get nothing.
/proc/usb/devfs is available, but I don't know what to do with that.
Please advise
TIA

The default boot up script has the line dsl noapic. Should that be noapci?

APCI = Advanced Configuration and Power Interface
APIC = Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller

They are both available kernel options
