IAN442, You can not burn image file to CF card directly. You need to burn iso image file to CD-R or CD-RW first.  After that, boot from DSL CD, use cfdisk in aterm as root for CF disk partitioning, then Format partition(s). Reboot from DSL CD and run Frugal Install.
