dpkg: error processing make (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Try the "Search" button above and search for keyword make

Make sure that you search from "the beginning"

I am pretty sure that there was a solution in there somewhere.

Good Luck.

Yup, it's posted elsewhere.

However, since it's a good one...

Edit /etc/apt/sources.list and change it to use the
'testing' branch instead of the 'stable' branch. You'll see a bunch of lines that are
commented out (they start with a #) and one line that's not. In the one line that's
not commented, change the word 'stable' to 'testing' (no quotes). Save the file,
then run 'apt-get update' at the command line (again, no quotes). Then you should
be able to 'apt-get install make' without that error.
