I want to try and use DSL as a porta-gameserver. I thought I may be able to set it up to run sof2 and Call or Duty. They are both Q3 based and both run dedicated at command line. I think I only need to add the appropriate folders to the DSL build and probably change them to root ownership before doing so. Can someone tell me how to add folders to the build or point me to existing instructions?

Have a look on http://www.knoppix.net/ (DSL's based on knoppix)
I know there is a Quake server version and some discussion on the forums which should help.
