i didnt see this board at first..I was just wondering which fluxbox I should download for my DSL. I just installed DSL on an old laptop yesterday, the laptop has a small amount of memory(until I upgrade it a bit) but for now I would like to try out fluxbox. If anyone could help direct me in the right area to downloading the right fluxbox for my computer that would be great. Thank you. It also has to be transfered to my laptop either via a memory stick or cd. Thank you.

huh? DSL has fluxbox and jwm as desktops already you don't need to install them. if your talking about upgrading it, just read the info page when you download.

If you're looking for a fluxbox "upgrade" on a machine with little ram, try fluxbox_0.9.14.uci (not really an upgrade, considering it doesn't overwrite the existing version).  The ram usage will still be a little greater than that of the included version of fluxbox, but not a big increase.  As kerry suggested, please always read the info file when adding an extension to your system.
