Forum Index -> HD Install View previous topic :: View next topic   Author Message Notsonoble Joined: 13 Nov 2006 Posts: 2 Posted: Mon Nov 13, 2006 9:28 pm    Post subject: DSL-N to qemu disk image I'd like to install DSL-N to a qemu disk image... but i've used them before and i'm little paranoid... when i boot DSL-N in qemu and have it set to see the disk image (using Qemumanager) dmesg shows hda: QEMU HARDDISK I think this is the disk image, because booting DSL-N without access to the image shows nothing on the ide channels... is this correct? I broke down and tried it, it slowly increased the file size of the .dsk file, so i'm pretty sure its working correctly... just waiting for the install to finish well nothing exploded, but it's qemu doesn't think there's a bootable partition on the disk image... sigh...
