I've been trying for a while now to make the boot partition of my USB stick writeable under RC4 without success - I don't really understand why this is so difficult since I don't have the same problem with DSL 3.0.1

I've got a second partition on the USB stick which is writeable but I need to make the first partition writeable so that I can share files with Windows.

If anybody has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help.
