I am totally new to DSL, and I want to remove (not replace with anything else) the "dillo welcome window"!!!

I tried to (with Beaver) remove the following line in /home/dsl/.xinitrc:
"dillo /usr/share/doc/dsl/getting_started.html &"

Isn't this right!? The "&" is an "end sign", right!?

BUT... When I save and restart, I have to go through the "vesa config" again, you know the one where you set resolution, mouse, keyboard etc... AND... the ".xinitrc" file is restored to it's original!!!

It's possible it has nothing to do with the ".xinitrc" file, but then I don't know why it acts like it does!!!

I used the "Frugal Grub Install" to get it to the harddrive if it's of any help!!!
