My video card (which I don't know what it is off hand - this is a Frankenstein machine), supports very high resolution and color depth. When running in say, SuSE, I normally run at 1152 with 16bit.

But with DSL-N, the only options I have through XVesa are up to 800x600x16.

I can run xsetup.sh, and get the resolution higher, but the color depth drops to 256. Not at all pleasurable.

Is there any way to get DSL to identify my video card better?
