I've got a linksys usb wireless adapter that works with the at76c503a driver on an FC5 machine I have. I've just installed DSL-N on another machine, an old slow one with no networking, but it does have a usb port. To use the linksys adapter I need the driver precompiled to match the 2.6.12 kernel in DSL-N. I can install it via a usb drive, but I can't compile it because DSL-N doesn't have gcc etc. There is a myDSL extension for the driver, but only for the 2.4 kernel in DSL.

Anyone have binaries for 2.6.12?

Failing that, does anyone know if this would work: Install 2.6.12 on my FC5 machine, compile the drivers, copy them over.

Thanks.
