Xpdf on DSL-N chokes on most of my pdf files. These are files that work just fine in DSL and Windows. I've found a solution.

Load xpdf-3.01pl2.uci. Run "/opt/xpdf-3.01pl2/xpdf". Okay, that isn't exactly a clever solution that requires a genius to figure out. But I've been unable to use xpdf under DSL-N (except for some files), and have, a few times, actually rebooted with DSL 2.3, looked at a pdf document, and then booted back into DSL-N. gv.dsl, another pdf viewing extension, complains about a lack of gs. I guess that isn't a problem in DSL.

This is my solution to a problem. I don't know if anybody else has this same problem, but if they do, now it is solved.

I just sent in xpdf-3.01pl2.uci, so it might be a few days until it shows up in the repository. Until then, you can find it at:
