DSL-N excludes a lot of files that are included in DSL. Three of these are crt1.o, crti.o, crtn.o in /usr/lib. As a result, gcc1-with-libs.dsl in the testing repository will not work by itself.

Here are two ways to make it work:

1) First load gcc1-with-libs.dsl. Then load libc6.dsl.

2) First load gcc1.dsl (dated Sept 8, 2004, in System repository). Then load gcc1-with-libs.dsl

You also need to be careful since all of the libraries I added to that package were for dsl 2.3 so if dsl-n uses a different version of the ones you are compiling against there may be problems.
