Hi there,

I have an older PC (1998 350mhz with 96mb RAM) and have reformatted disks and boot up using DSL (version Nov 06:dsl-3.0.1.iso) from my CDRW.

All works fine (GUI, appls run, all great) after I boot up DSL from the CD using LOWRAM and changed mouse to COM2 except...

my CDRW (ATAPI) is not responding to me pressing the eject button, either on the CD physical or in the software eject command button. It would appear the auto config process has not found the CDRW or something?

If I boot using FreeDos the CDRW works fine and it used to work with Win 98.

Please help with what I might do to get CDRW responding!
