Hello everyone,

I have an old laptop - pentium II, 160MB ram, 6 gig hard drive...

It is a Supra laptop but really I can't find out much about the laptop - I bought it second hand.

Anyway, when I boot 'toram' with dsl-n I get to the desktop but then none of the applications or programs load up..... weird ?? Any ideas how to solve this. The terminal doesn't load up either so I can't check what is going on in any way. However, the system processor usage does change on the display info on the right of the desktop.

When I do a normal live boot up of dsl-n without doing a 'toram' the desktop works fine and all the programs load up fine. However, the one thing that does not work is my Xircom RBE-100 pcmcia ethernet card. DSL-N does seem to recognise it - I did 'lspci' in the console and the Xircom showed up - but it doesn't do anything with it. Anyone have ideas how to solve this.

I would like to solve these issues as I think I would like DSL-N if I could get it to work properly Smile

I would like it to work properly with 'toram' as I like the quietness !

Regards,
Tahir
