I have successfully installed DSL or DSL-N on several computers which wouldn't boot from the CD simply by temporarily switching the computer's hard drive to another PC which is able to boot from the CD. After the installation, I swapped the hard drive back to where it came from and the computer booted up just fine. DSL-N ran a little slowly but very nicely on a Pentium 90 with 64 MB of RAM. I did change to a video card which had 16 MB of RAM so that I could get my preferred 1024 X 768 monitor resolution but I could have lived with 640 X 480 if that's all I could get.

DSL-N rocks!
