Compatibility - John121 - 06-25-2024

Hi people. I have a laptop with 2 GB of RAM and 2 cores of RAM. The question is, which version is better to choose, if of course there are enough characteristics for the installations

RE: Compatibility - Yan - 06-25-2024

If you can boot from a USB drive or a DVD, the lz4 version will boot more quickly the first time, before you install DSL on the hard disk.

If you can only boot from a CD, then you'll have to choose the "cdrom" version, since the other version is too bog to fit on a CD.

The difference is very small; the lz4 version is perhaps a minute faster, and only the first time.
