first you need to know what card is in your laptop , reading the manual or seeing the pc system ( programs how everest home edition in windows can help)second goes to wiki < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Verified_Wireless_Cards > and begin the work to configure the wireless card.. i encourage to the linux newbees... i you have a external access point near; better that you begin with this one...( with a cord to the normal pc net card) Posted by -Batista- on Dec. 15 2007,07:42
Thanks but it doesn't work because I download it to home/dsl folder when I do the second step which is " /home/dmoerner/depmodscript.sh" it sayes there is no such file directery or the same mean I would appreciate it of you would explain in details and by the way this is the link to my wireless card configuration < http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Intel_Pro_Wireless_2200 > Posted by ^thehatsrule^ on Dec. 15 2007,08:01
That part is probably dependent on your home directory, such as /home/dsl/depmodscript.sh or it may be easier just to do ~/depmodscript.shYou can also take a look at the .info file Posted by -Batista- on Dec. 15 2007,15:29

Using iwlist?  Make sure your wireless network is broadcasting its SSID.If you still don't get a result, you can manually enter your SSID. |
