I'm trying to use rec (from the sox DSL) and the command line parser appears broken.  I can't get it to accept an output filename.

> rec test.wav
Send break (control-c)  to end recording
sox: Can't open output file '': No such file or directory

I've tried numerous other command line options to no avail.  This same command works fine on my Mepis Linux installation.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Warren

It looks like the idiot who built the extension didn't test it well enough.

I've been meaning to upgrade the extension to the latest version, so maybe the next one won't give you trouble.  Downloading the latest sources now, and will hopefully get the package sent to ke4nt tomorrow.

I just built a new one from the sources of the latest version, and it's not giving me that error anymore.  This one is a little larger because it includes libmp3lame.  I'll send it tomorrow after a little more testing.
