Where do you go to get streaming music (mp3 links)? Or can this even be done in version 0.9.0?

Thanks,

Sometimes you can find a radio station like this one:
audio.ibiblio.org:8010/wcpe.ogg
Then you can enter the url via the stream button in MediaPlayer.

Other times you can go to www.icecast.org. Their stream directory is in the form of m3u. You can then use the program m3u.lua and the file name and it will call media.flua and stream the music. Or make an association with the browser to play.

Use google to search for more.

Expect more features in MediaPlayer.

Better Yet, try Magnatune.com for music.

we should kick out glinks and get back xmms and/or scite :)

glinks is already deleted from the livecd

I would be shocked again if we could fit all of these things on the same cd.

It might be possible to substitute a newer beaver for minimum profit, but I doubt that scite will fit.

Same is true for XMMS.

scite was the best, xmms was also great, we gotta figure some stuff to remove. :)

Xcruiser is fun to play with, as is pacman.

I think everything else is gone, cause it was crap.

...my 10 year old daughter still plays the original frogger under the .8.3 version every other night....  :)  Actually, I'm suprised she hasn't tired of it....
