Good morning ;-)

I have a Realtek 650 soundchip on my motherboard and i'd like
to have sound on my machine with dsl installed. DSL does not support this chip.
So, i downloaded the driver from realtec.com.tw, then installed gcc.
Now, when i do the configure, it claims "/lib/gpp fails sanity check".

What is wrong?
Meanwhile i removed and reinstalled gcc. No result.

Try using the gcc1.dsl package in the testing area..
That should get you a good gcc environment.

Also, try the alsadebs.dsl package for getting your soundcard running
without compiling a kernel driver..
