I want to use putty to connect to my DSL box. What do I need to set up on the DSL box?

I'm no expert on dsl, but on my Ubuntu box I just ran an ssh daemon(I think dsl already comes with one, type in sudo ssh start into a terminal to find out), set it up using some old guide I found(just google ssh-guide or something like that), then, with the dsl machine running, open putty and connect to ssh using the IP of the dsl machine.

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I'm a little tired while writing this, if you need anything cleared up just ask. I'm sure that someone here knows much more about the dsl specifics of running a ssh server than I do(I just started using it after all). If you don't respond by tomorrow I'll post the little guide I've got to set up the ssh server.

Hope this helps :)

I just tried starting the server, I don't know if its because I'm running it in qemu, but I cant connect to it using putty, I think you're going to have to wait until someone more experienced with dsl explains what to do, but still try sudo ssh start, and if it works thats great, if not just wait.
