I'd be interested to try this as well - maybe plugz and/or dbus will work better in 2.6.19 than I can make them work in 2.6.12...

Hi,I found by replacing some files by knoppix files (knoppix-halt, init, reboot, shutdown, ...) that it does reboot properly, however I have some errors with udev and I don't know if it is worth to go further in that direction and fix udev. I too have to admit that there are many issues with udev which affects pendrives.

I copied the following dir/files from DSL: /var/cache/apt/archives/lock [file] /var/cache/apt/archives/partial [empty dir] /var/lib/apt/lists/lock [file] /var/lib/apt/lists/partial [empty dir] /usr/sbin/install-info /usr/sbin/dpkg-restore Together with dsl-dpkg.dsl from DSL, this seems to make apt-get work OK in DSL-N |
