Attempting to use the Opera 9.1 UNC from MyDSL. File downloads, but nothing occurs after. Am I missing something?

UCIs and UNCs have to be loaded before they can be used. You can use the MyDSL browser to load them locally, command line (mydsl-load /path/to/extension), etc.

I get the same behavior when attempting to load the UNC file from the MyDSL browser (as per the FAQ). Nothing happens - no errors, nothing.

UNC extensions are currently ignored on live/frugal legacy booted or traditional hard drive installed systems. They were created for liveCD and frugal with unionfs (the default) enabled.

Thanks, that explains it. Not the same case for UCI extensions, correct?

UCI are self contained mountable extensions. They do not install but mount and are unmounted upon shutdown. They are available for all types of installations.
