Seen a new(to me) distro based on DSL that is mainly for playing the game "GO". "Hikarunix-0.4" 200MB,downloaded it and burned it to a miniCDR,will give it a "go" later today.

Looks and feels like DSL but larger.

Hikarunix has been around for a while, and is a really good way to get into Go/Baduk. It's filled with non-OSS stuff, not that there's anything wrong with that, and runs as root by default (at least when you open an xterm), which I do feel is wrong, but anyway.

Yahoo! Games' Go is a lot easier on the old bandwidth, and just as fun, but if you need/want all the cool client/server Go stuff, Hikarunix is very cool.

And the fact that it gets its name from the excellent series Hukaru No Go doesn't hurt either.

I really gotta finish buying that series on dvd.. >_<
