From what i've seen, it seems that there's a qemu port to powerpc. adding it to the tripleboot version might be interesting as it would result in a quadri boot system, allowing DSL to run on a powerpc.However, i don't know if it uses the same filesystem as tripleboot DSL ? If the emulator is capable of running on a PowerPC system then it shouldnt be an issue...The iso is just data, and the emulator is compilied and optimized for the powerpc..it should start similar to the Windows version Brian AwPhuch Posted by cbagger01 on Jan. 03 2005,23:32
Which would be agonizingly slow except for all but the very newest Macs.The newest Macs would merely be painfully slow. |
