can't find 'make'Forum: Apps Topic: can't find 'make' started by: Tangled_Kid Posted by Tangled_Kid on April 01 2007,11:14
I need make installed to install my n/w card modem working however it's not installed by default.I read somewhere that 'make' is included in the GNU-UTILS packages, but I have tried installing both the .dsl package & the .unc package, but neither seem to include 'make'. Can anyone please help? Thanks, T Posted by Wittfella on April 01 2007,11:24
Grab the 'gcc1.dsl' or 'gcc1-with-libs.dsl' package. You will also need 'kernelsource.dsl' if you are compiling stuff. Posted by lucky13 on April 01 2007,12:15

To be more precise, you'll need that package if compiling drivers or anything else affecting/reconfiguring kernelspace. |
