How to install Epson FX-1170 printer

Newbie question here:

I'm trying to install Epson FX-1170. When i configure the printer driver, i choose IBM Omni because I can only find Epson FX-1170 there.
so i choose 142 - Epson FX-1170 [omni/Epson_FX_1170] as the printer driver.

however it returns an error:
Error: Your gs version doesn't have driver"omni" compiled in..

What must i do? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. tnx mark
