Hello I have a thin client and am not very good at networking and new to linux. If I boot DSL onto a thin client, can it run as it's own system, or will it have to connect to a remote computer? I saw a help topic titled DSL Embedded and didn't know if it was a different version of DSL. Can I use a regular version of DSL on a thin client?

If you boot DSL onto it, it will run DSL. No server required. And you can use the regular DSL, as long as you have a cd drive, or as long as you can install it onto a flash drive (syslinux worked for me)

What thin client btw?

HP T5000. The flash memory is upgradable to 2gb
