Personally, I don't like to have to add entries all over the filesystem when I can easily use one. Makes for a smaller simpler filetool.lst.

Yeah, I know. I am just thinking of the kids that will get computers. They will not have a clue about bootlocal.sh or how to use it!

If it means that I have a long filetool.lst to simplify for them then so be it. It's a necessary evil I think.
