Networking :: networking on a windows network

Can someone help me? I can see the Windows XP pro machines on the DSL machine, but not the other way around. I'm trying to set up the DSL computer as a print server, but can't if the Windows computers don't see it.

I can ping the DSL's ip address from the Windows' command prompt, but I can't find it by name "box" or "dsl"

I think I am missing something simple. Can anyone help?
