Networking :: DSL as NFS Server

If you want full NFS support without recompiling the kernel, try stealing the NFS files and packages from the KNOPPIX 3.4 5/17/2004 livecd.

If you know what files that you are looking for, it NFS should work fine with DSL because the DSL kernel is taken from this version of KNOPPIX.

I don't understand what they did with the kernel here. It says on kernel.org that after 2.2.x NFS v2 and v3 was integrated into the kernel..if it's integrated, how did they remove it and why?
