Did you could try that command?

I can't download SBM.  The computer doesn't work to get online and also does not have a floppy drive.

As far as a command, I don't know much about computers (hence the name) so what would I put in for device in e2fsck -b 8193 <device>?

Try /dev/hda1
Yeah, that doesn't work.  I think it probably won't end up working anymore.  Oh 1997 Toshiba Tecra, you were good while you lasted.
