Release Candidates :: DSL v4.0rc2

The rdesktop link in /Apps/Net seems to be broken.  It goes to /usr/bin/rdesktop and I think it's supposed to go to /usr/local/bin/rdesktop.lua  I haven't checked any of the other links.

Looks great so far. :)

Pretty nice robert, love the new setup, you might just bring me back.  :D

suggetion:
add launchers to the task bar, took me a couple of seconds to do it, i use the same thing in my debian setup.  :laugh:

the menu is huge and that's just the first thing that struck me, traversing three menus just to get to the browser. well let me play around some more and see what other ideas pop up.

Here's what mine looks like, which i owe to dsl, learned a lot from you robert, thank you

I was wondering when someone would suggest this.
Very nice and nice to see you back in the forums, kerry!

I will add your suggestion.

I am OK with this suggestion. We already have an mc.uci in the repository.
Also, I have seen posts concerning difficulty with mc and resizing to full screen.

@ kerry,

Unpluging a usb drive then re-pluging it in will change its device name. 2.6 kernel and udev solves this. But we are on 2.4 and original hotpug scripts. Anyway, a known limitation.

@ meo,
I know the boot floppy needs more work and I will address it. I have been concentrating on base isolinux version. Before, final release I will support, syslinux, qemu, vmx, and initrd editions as well as a fully functional boot floppy.
