Printers :: hpdj3420

I tried using apsfilter from the dsl panel to setup my printer, but my printer model is not on the drivers list...and I can't see a generic one either...

There's a post in here about gs...but I don't know how to use that...

Any help please?

I've never managed to be able to print from DSL/DSL-N either - though I didn't try too hard so far.

You could try the following:

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/
or
http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages#search_packages

and look for "hpijs"

I've used CUPS with hpijs for a HP printer... seems like that should be the best solution.

I'm in the process of fiddling with CUPS now...hopefully this works out...

As for HPLIP, I found that on the web, but I dunno how I can use the .deb file to set it up...I remember there's a way to do it...but I don't remember what it is!
