Is there way to change screen size in side xdsl on tv the .cfg is set at 640x480 the desktop icons are half off the screen the tv is GE 27 inch thanks

I have never used xdsl, but if they didn't change the script, you should be able to open a console and run "xsetup.sh" If that doesn't work, try their forums.
