Hello.
Did dsl starts at 8mb's of ram ??The rest is p133mhz s3 and 700mb hd .Pure stuff but i must start is some how .Waiting for some advice

I don't think that DSL is usable or even bootable with only 8MB of RAM.

You can try other distros like "basic linux" that are designed for 8MB or less RAM.

Long time ago I played a bit with older versions of DSL.
in my experience you require at least 12 MB.

Initially I also started with 8 MB and it did not work. Then I saw a neighbour placing another old PC with the garbage which supplied me with another 4 MB.... that made it work

I used DSL 0.5.3 and DSL 0.6.2
