Other Help Topics :: Freezes on boot up "Probing SCSI...eata.o"

hey, i just downloaded dsl and when i boot from a live cd, it boots fne at first but then when ol' tux comes up it has the decription of whats its doing. It freezes whan it says "Probing SCSI...eata.o" I waited about 10min, but it didnt do anything after that, so i came here... Please help!

Does booting with this command:

dsl noscsi

help?
